| Our Rating | Snowshoe is definitely the most challenging. However, tickets are pricy and you will stand in line a lot. | By far our favorite. The slopes are generally less challenging than Snowshoe, but the price and few lines are worth it. | An excellent choice for the family day at the slopes. Offers lots of moderate skiing that is good for all and usually no lift lines. |
Our recommendation: After a long cozy night at your cabin, sleep in and head to Timberline mid to late morning. Ski the afternoon or twilight pass (afternoon and night skiing, usually 1 PM to 9 PM). This is the best buy you'll get with the least crowds. Head back to the Lodge for an exquisite dinner at the Inn and a later dip in the hot tub. This will give you a good day of skiing........ and relaxing. After all, isn't that really what you want!
